Machinery and equipment
Machinery and Equipment Transport
Machinery is expensive, top-heavy and often too tall for an enclosed trailer. We move it on flatbeds and Conestogas, secured to code and protected from the weather.

Questions
Machinery & equipment shipping, answered
What equipment do you use for machinery?
Flatbeds and Conestogas. A Conestoga is a flatbed with a rolling tarp system that covers the whole load and still opens for side and overhead loading.
Do you haul oversize machinery?
We haul legal-size loads. If your machine is over legal width or height, ask dispatch before you book.
How do you secure machinery?
Drivers chain or strap each piece to federal cargo securement rules and recheck it during the trip.
Can you protect electrical equipment from rain?
Yes. Switchgear, generators and other moisture-sensitive equipment ride on a Conestoga or under tarps.
Can you move machinery on short notice?
Yes. Expedited service can have a truck ready in as little as 4 hours for a plant shutdown or a breakdown.
