As a Trailer Technician (Body Repair) at MigWay, you’ll keep our trailers safe, compliant, and road-ready. You’ll handle structural, cosmetic, and finishing repairs with precision—making sure every trailer we send out reflects MigWay’s commitment to reliability.
Core Responsibilities
- Assess damage and prepare or review repair estimates.
- Sand, prime, and paint vehicle surfaces.
- Weld and install replacement parts; grind and finish welds.
- Remove damaged sections and realign trailer frames/structures.
- Fill dents, smooth surfaces, and prep for painting.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed.
- Install windows, trim, and vinyl roofing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified auto body repair/refinishing training program.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automotive/trailer body repair.
- Confidence in sanding, priming, welding, and finishing.
